![]() Maaike has been a business owner since 2004 creating marketing material, learning resources and assessment materials for clients in the government and education with developing particular expertise with Industry Training Organisations. Maaike has a passion for visual language and communication, especially in an educational context. She possesses theoretical and practical understanding on the presentation of verbal, textual and pictorial information especially designed to promote understanding and encourage retention. Her five years teaching in a Decile 2 secondary school included developing NCEA programmes and related teaching and assessment resource material, with a special focus on creating a multi-levelled (scaffolding) learning and assessment programme to cater for a broad range of literacy levels and learning styles. She has worked for NZQA moderating NCEA Visual Arts assessments. ![]() Steve Jähne is a A former librarian and agency copywriter, with a broad background in research and content development for the public sector Steve began specialising in training resource development in 2004. Since then he has worked predominantly in the creation of resources to support and promote on-job training for ITOs. He has thorough knowledge of the NZQF and solid experience writing NZQA approved training and assessment material for National Qualifications. Steve brings with him solid writing, editing and research expertise and a tonne of experience in managing resource development projects, working with advisory groups, concept design and print management.
