Schools are busy places. Updates are frequent and maintaining the content is often a collective activity. 

The site was built using Google Sites. Naenae College, like many schools the world over, use Google Apps for Education. This is a free service providing secure, efficient, collaborative cloud computing to schools and universities. From email to shared calendars, blogs, documents and presentations, to image and video management, back up and cloud storage - Google Apps is at the forefront of innovation on the web offering tangible benefits for students, teachers and administrators. And it's free.

Technology is changing the way schools deliver annual school magazines, and Naenae College is among the first to move their highlights online. 

A website is a cost effective way to showcase the Collge's considerable talent. Now sports, music, Kapahaka performance videos and photos can be shared with family and friends via social media. Having an online magazine resource has also allowed the school to share past editions.

We have also produced a summarised, traditional printed magazine to accompany the online one. 

Using a flexible and completely Google Site has enabled staff to work collaboratively to maintain the school site from any computer.

This very worthwhile sponsorship web project has spawned the  introduction of Google Apps school-wide enabling pupils to work safely online, collaborating with teachers and classmates using free tools such as Google Docs, Blogger and Sites.

The site is contains everything new and existing families need to know about latest goings-on at this great little school in the western hills! 

Their website was designed to get crucial 'how-to' messages across to those uninitiated in eco-plumbing, as well as capture interest from potential investors and provide in depth technical information.
